Where does SPChat store data?
SPChat stores chat and account data on your hosting or chosen S3 storage, depending on configuration. The operator controls the storage location.
Chat, account and configuration data are stored in the MySQL or MariaDB database used by the SPChat installation. Local uploads are stored outside the webroot. Media can instead be stored in S3-compatible storage configured by the operator.
With the download edition, you choose the web host, server location and optional S3 provider. The hosted edition runs on STREAMPANEL infrastructure. Check the hosted offer for its current data location and data-processing terms before ordering.
